Business Development Director

You will be a critical piece of driving our business growth and expanding our client portfolio.
We are looking for somebody proactive, dynamic and results-oriented who can build long-term relationships based on trust with our clients. Ideally you have a strong background in business development, sales, and client relationship management within the consulting or tech industry.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve growth objectives aligned with Wiredcraft's vision and values.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by understanding market trends, assessing client needs, and engaging in proactive outreach.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives and decision-makers, at client organizations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including consultants, technologists, and designers, to develop tailored solutions and proposals that address client needs and challenges.
- Lead the end-to-end sales process, from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing deals.
- Drive revenue growth by achieving and exceeding sales targets and quotas.
- Provide strategic insights and market intelligence to inform business development strategies and identify emerging trends and opportunities.
- Represent Wiredcraft at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to enhance brand visibility, generate leads, and contribute to thought leadership initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to maintain a competitive edge.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project handover and client satisfaction throughout the engagement lifecycle.
- Fluent (or close to it) in Chinese and English.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Proven track record of success in business development and sales within the consulting or digital industry.
- Deep understanding of consulting services, digital transformation, and emerging technologies.
- Strong network of industry contacts and the ability to leverage relationships for business opportunities.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Comfortable engaging with high level executives.
- Ability to think strategically, analyze market dynamics, and develop innovative business solutions.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive informed decision-making.
- Flexibility to travel as required.
